As part of the second Vietnam International Trade Forum (VFIT), the WTO Chair Program at Foreign Trade University will also host the Press Release Ceremony of the Vietnam International Trade Report 2025<\/strong>\u2014a strategic publication reflecting key trends, opportunities, and challenges of global trade for Vietnam. This event provides an opportunity for the drafting team to present the Report\u2019s main findings to scholars, experts, institutions, and the media.<\/p>\n

The Report has been developed with the objective of identifying and analyzing in depth four new cross-cutting growth drivers<\/strong>\u2014emerging at the global level but materialized and coordinated at the national and enterprise levels.<\/p>\n

The Report consists of 5 chapters which cover some main contents: An overview of these new drivers and emphasizes the role of the Enabling State \u2013 Centered Enterprises \u2013 Connecting Universities<\/strong>; Next-Generation Free Trade Agreements \u2013 Institutional Foundations for Comprehensive Integration<\/strong>; Digital Trade \u2013 Technological Drivers for Breakthrough<\/strong>; Sustainable Trade \u2013 Normative Drivers for Global Market Access<\/strong>; Global Value Chains \u2013 Structural Drivers for Vietnam\u2019s Upgrading<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Report concludes with a set of comprehensive, coordinated, and multi-tiered policy recommendations, calling for close collaboration among an Enabling State, Centered Enterprises, and Connecting Universities<\/strong> to transform external drivers into endogenous advantages. This approach is expected to enable Vietnam to make breakthroughs and assert its role as a high-value link in international trade in the new era.<\/p>\n
