On 25th February, 2024, WTO Chair Program at Foreign Trade University successfully organized a kick-off session for the Program in 2024.
The kick-off session warmly welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong – Vice President of FTU, Head of the Program Steering Committee; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hang – Head of Organization – Human Resources Department, Member of the Program Steering Committee; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Huong – Director of FTU Chair Program; Dr. Vu Kim Ngan – Deputy Director of FTU Chair Program; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha – Director of FTU Creative Research Institute and members of the Program.
At the kick-off session, members of the Program together looked back the two-year journey of the Program with a huge number of high – quality activities in all three pillars: Research, Program development and Outreach events. In particular, many activities organized within the framework of the Program have received positive feedbacks from stakeholders.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong highly appreciated the results achieved by the Program Management Board and all members participating in the Program. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thu Huong believes that the continuous activities within the framework of the Program over the past 2 years have not only brought many values with strong spillovers to each member of the Program but also to entire university, organizations, enterprises and the whole communities. She expressed her hope that in the next stage of the Program, all the members will continue to promote the achieved results, make the Program develop with more and more diversified and innovative activities. Especially, the Vice President hopes that young members of the Program will make more important contributions to the success of the Program, and vice versa, will also gain many useful and valuable experience from the Program.
Also at the kick-off session, members of the Program enthusiastically discussed the activity plan for the year 2024. Accordingly, in 2024, the Program Management Board expects to organize about 17 main activities, with a total of 94 outputs in all 3 pillars of research, program development and outreach events. All the members also expressed their high determination to make the most efforts to complete all the KPIs of 2024 as proposed plan.
On this occasion, the Program Management Board organized a spring tour for members at the Bach Dang Giang Historical Relic Site with the hope that the new year will bring many new successes for the WTO Chair Program at Foreign Trade University.
